  • The Military Administrator in Dhaka amends Martial Law No. 20 and issued No. 23, according to which, ‘Even if it is not mentioned in the terms and conditions of employment for any person employed in any organization, still the Military Authority or the Provincial Government may send him to any part of the country or outside the country. This order is applicable for all since March 25’.

 

  • Subedar Patwari’s team demolishes Jamjama railway bridge near the railway station in Madhu Road to disrupt advance of the Pakistan forces in the Laksham-Chandpur railway route.

 

  • Freedom fighters demolish a bridge near Mahamaya bazaar to disrupt advance of Pakistan forces by road in the Chandpur- Comilla highways.

 

  • Suhrawardi’s daughter Begum Akhter Solaiman gives an interview in the television opposing the Liberation War. She says, ‘Most of the members of Awami League did not know about the party’s separatist plans.’ She also says, ‘We know that the people voted Awami League in the election in order to build up a more powerful and developed Pakistan.’

 

  • Explaining the 6-point demand, she says, ‘6-point demand is merely a claim for self-governance. It has made me believe that majority members of the National Assembly and Provincial Council believe in one and unified Pakistan.
