• Muktibahini fighters attack Pakistan military in Comilla’s Kandipur Rajganj. 10 soldiers are killed.

 

• 41 Pakistani military men are killed after Muktibahini leveled Noakhali’s Majumdarhat, Anantapur and Parshuram areas with mortar shelling.

 

• Several Pakistani military men are killed and injured after freedom fighters bomb a military establishment with grenades in sector 1.

 

• Muktibahini fighters attack Chulkathi High School camp of Pakistan military. 10 soldiers are killed.

 

• People’s Party Information  Secretary Mawlana Kawsar Niazi told Dhaka reporters that the fascist and religious party of Jamaat-e-Islami are being weaponised with arms. He says Jamaat will turn Pakistan to Indonesia. The people are losing confidence in Jamaat, he says.

 

• Finance Minister Abul Quashem visits West Pakistan. He told reporters there that the situation is quickly settling down to normal. Patriot people and Razakar forces are building resistance against the miscreants (freedom fighters).

 

• A rally, organised by local peace committee, is held in Satkhira. Speakers at the programme, chaired by Advocate Abul Khayer, told the gathering that there is no force in the world that could divide Pakistan.
