• Freedom fighters led by Captain Didarul Alam kill 30 Pakistan militia men and wound 10 others after attacking Jambari area of Comilla.

 

• Freedom fighters ambush a vehicle of Pakistan army and detain four soldiers.

 

• A patrol party of Muktibahini ambush Pakistan soldiers on the way to Dhandal village from Brahmanpara at Sector no-2. 10 Pakistan soldiers killed.

 

• Quoting officials of Nixon-led government, in a report by Cliveman of Washington Post states that, US government’s policy is only to protect unity of Pakistan.
