• An ambush team of Muktibahini led by Subeder Abdur Rahman attack a petrol team of Pakistan army at Raghurampur to the north of Comilla. An officer of the patrol party and all 25 soldiers are killed in this assault.

 

• Soldiers of 4th Bengal ‘C’ Company led by Captain Gaffar attack Pakistan army bases at Shbpur, Bajra and Sagartola to the west of Shaldah River in Comilla. Major Durrani of 31st Baluch Regiment is killed in this assault along with 27 other casualties for Pakistan forces.

 

• A patrol team of Muktibahini ambush 2 Pakistan army cars at Botpara in Comilla. The cars are destroyed and 4 Pakistan soldiers are killed in the ambush.

 

• Freedom fighters ambush on Pakistan forces at Shingerbeel area in Comilla. 6 Pakistan soldiers are killed in the ambush.
