• A team of Muktibahini led by Lt. Imamuzzaman ambushes Pakistan army base at Jagannathdighi in Comilla. Pakistan forces sustain 19 casualties in this assault.

 

• A patrol team of Muktibahini attacks Pakistan army camp near Ujaniya Bridge on Brahmanbaria-Comilla Road. 13 Pakistan soldiers are killed and 3 injured in this ambush and a span is demolished by explosion.

 

• Pakistan army commit mass killing at various places in Sylhet. At Burungabazar, 81 innocent people are tortured to death by the barbarians.
