• A guerilla team of Muktibahini led by Iqbal (Bacchu) attack Pakistan forces at their Bibibazar base near Gomti River Dam. 10 Pakistan soldiers are killed in the assault.

 

• Mortar platoon of Muktibahini ambush Pakistan army base at Shingerbeel in Comilla. 6 Pakistan soldiers are killed and 7 are injured in the ambush.

 

• A platoon of soldiers from 4th Bengal ‘B’ Company ambush a 27-member Pakistan army team at a place half mile north of Chouddogram on Chouddogram-Myanmar Road. 3 Pakistan soldiers are killed in the assault.
