• Commandos of Muktibahini ambush Pakistan soldiers at Gouripur, south of Comilla. 9 Pakistan soldiers are killed in the assault.

 

• At Shaldah River area in Comilla, freedom fighters attack on a railway trolley carrying ration and ammunition for Pakistan soldiers and seize a lot of weapons and ammunitions.
