• To free Gopalganj from enemy occupation, freedom fighters take positions with 150 soldiers led by Captain Jalal to the west of the town in Ghorechor village, Commander Omar leading a team to the east of the town in Bed village, and Nowsher Ali leading another team of 30 soldiers to the south of the town in Nabinbag.

 

• Freedom fighters attack Pakistan army base at Shingerbeel area in Comilla. 6 Pakistan soldiers are killed in this operation.
