Freedom fighters led by Major Nazmul intercept a convoy of Pakistan soldiers and their local agents along with 5 trucks of weapons and ammunitions when it reached Hortokidanga village under Patnitola Police Station. A fierce conflict between the two sides in which the freedom fighters destroyed the convoy completely and took possession of ample weapons and ammunitions.

- At a place called Bogadiya in Comilla, Muktibahini and Pakistan forces engage in a severe conflict. Attacks and counter attacks continue for 4-5 hours. In the end Pakistan forces escape with casualties.
- Freedom fighters led by Hemayetuddin make a fierce attack on Pakistan soldiers at Kotalipara Police Station in Faridpur. Armed policemen and soldiers at the police station are panicked by the gunfire make by freedom fighters and escaped with their lives from the place.
