• Freedom fighters undertake an operation in Gopalganj. Severe gunfight take place between freedom fighters and local Pakistan agents. 3 Pakistan agents killed and ample weapons and ammunitions come in possession of freedom fighters.

 

• A group of freedom fighters led by Lt Morshed ambush two companies of Pakistan army on their way from Brahmanbaria to Sylhet at Teliapara tea garden area on Dhaka-Sylhet highway. A company of Pakistan soldiers are killed and three military cars destroyed. Freedom fighters seize one car and ample weapons and ammunitions.

 

• Pakistan army carry out a barbaric massacre at Galimpur in Sylhet. 31 innocent villagers are killed in this mass killing by the enemy forces.
