• Muktibahini take control of Fulgazi, Anandapur and Chandgachi Bazar area. Feni is still under military control. Muktibahini also is controlling Parshuram Thana area.

 

• Muktibahini sources say that Satkhira mohkuma is freed and they are advancing towards Khulna, a report of Anandabazar says. Meanwhile, a fierce battle takes place at Meherpur town. Pakistan army retreat from the mango orchards in Dinajpur town, are running towards Syedpur.

 

• Jhikorgacha in Jessore is liberated. The military men leave behind plenty of arms and ammunition. To be noted, this region went out of Muktibahini control on April 8.

 

• Muktibahini capture almost 450 square kilometres of Rangpur and Dinajpur districts. Meanwhile 13 Razakars surrender with weapons at Rangamati during a skirmish.

 

• The situation has turned into a threat to the existence of East Pakistan, start war against India, says Ghulam Azam, ameer of East Pakistan Jamaat-e-Islami in Lahore.
