• Muktibahini kill 30 Pakistan soldiers including a captain ambushing five boats while heading from Brahmanpara on Shalda river.

 

• A patrol team of A company of Fourth Regiment of Sector-2 kill nine Pakistan troops and wound four others attacking at Madhabpur village.

 

• Freedom fighters from Tajpur of Sylhet kill four Razakars and a Pakistan soldier at Shahbajpur Railway station.

 

• Muktibahini launch a crackdown at Maijbar village in Comilla and kill 36 Pakistani soldiers.

 

• A 150-member joint team of Razakars and Pakistan raiders from Companyganj of Comilla begin rampage at Maheshpur village. Hearing the news, freedom fighters ambush around the village and kill four Pakistan soldiers. Others manage to flee

 

• Muktibahini free Dirai and Shalla area of Gajannathpur of Sylhet and begin civil administration. Saleh Chowdhury is appointed a regional commander in the area.

 

• Justice Abu Syed is nominated as a member of UN Human Rights Commission
