• A guerilla team led by Ahasan Habib under Sector-7 ambush a Pakistan military lorry at Sabgram in Bogra that kills three Pakistan soldiers and inures another.

 

• Guerilla fighters Jewel, Badiuzzaman, Alam Pulu, Swapan and Samad attack a military post at Farmgate and kill five Pakistani police and six Rajakars.

 

• Bangladesh government says the soldiers who have separated from the military and other separatists have directly joined the war at East Pakistan border areas with the help of India.
