• Addressing at Mujibnagar, Bangladesh Home Minister AHM Kamaruzzaman says, “Freedom Fight is now not limited between Muktifouj and Pakistani raiders. This fight has turned into civil war. The country people have promised to free the country driving out the Pakistan raiders.”

 

• Pakistan soldiers flee from their Putkhali BOP camp when freedom fighters of Sector-8 attack the camp. Freedom fighters later set up a protection cell there.

 

• Freedom fighters retreat at Baradal camp in Ashasuni thana when Pakistan navy attack their camp in Sundarbans.

 

• In line with the direction of Kader Siddique, freedom fighters led by Habib attack seven arms-laden ships of Pakistan military on the river Yamuna and kill 14-15 Pakistan soldiers while others manage to flee. The freedom fighters take possession of the arms and ammunition.

 

• Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi calls upon the UN secretary general and 24 others countries to put pressure on Pakistan over Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s trial.
