US House of Representatives grants recommendation to stop financial and military supplies to Pakistan.

  • Pakistani forces prepare to set up a bunker at Manwara railway bridge area near Shalda river railway station. They retaliate when a team of Muktijoddha from A Company of Fourth Bengal attacks. Many of Pakistan soldiers sustain injuries.

 

  • Eight Pakistani soldiers are killed when a guerilla team attacks at Ashikati village on Comilla-Chandpur route.

 

  • Regular and Ganobahini forces jointly attack Narasinghapur camp of Pakistani army. 13 Pakistani soldiers are killed and many others injured in the attack.

 

  • A platoon freedom fighters led by Lt Humayun Kabir ambush Pakistani soldiers on the way to Chandrapur from Latumora. Four soldiers killed on the sport while others manage to escape.

 

  • Freedom fighters set anti-tank mines at Putia village on Comilla-Daudkani highway. A Pakistani soldier, two Rajakars and the driver of a truck die in a mine explosion. 12 more pro-Pakistani people including a major, five soldiers and 6 Rajakars are killed in another mine explosion there. Hearing the news Pakistani soldiers rush to the spot with 30 vehicles. Six to seven more soldiers are also killed and many others injured when anti-personal mine exploded at that time.

 

  • Freedom fighters led by Habildar Zakir Hossain attack the Pakistani rangers and Rajakars when they are heading towards the position of freedom fighters at Narimpur of Ramganj. The Pakistan soldiers fled the scene leaving two bodies of Rajakars.

 

  • 22 Pakistan soldiers are killed when freedom fighters attack Pakistani camp in Shahpar area of Rajshahi.

 

  • 17 Pakistani soldiers are killed and 27 injured during a violent gunfight with Muktibahini at Dailpara village in Gafargaon.

 

  • US House of Representatives grants recommendation to stop financial and military supplies to Pakistan.
