• In Chittagong, Pakistan Army attack on Chandgazi base of the Muktibahini. Muktibahini made counter attack led by Captain Motiur Rahman, which forced the Pakistan soldiers to retreat. 50 Pakistan soldiers are killed in this conflict.

 

• A small band of freedom fighters from Kosba ambush a patrol team of Pakistan soldiers at a place called Bogabari. 10 Pakistan soldiers are killed in this ambush and 5 are injured.
