১৬ নভেম্বর, ১৯৭১
- Muktibahini commander in Ajmiriganj, Jagatjyoti Das with his 45-member strong group, take shelter. Their cover is blown and the Pakistan army attacks them. After a battle over two and half hours, Jagatjyoti and his comrade Upendra are martyred. Muktibahini retreats. Pakistani military men take control of Ajmiriganj.
